Beautiful Sunday Hiking along the Chattahoochee River

Today’s high hit 51 degrees and Sunday was a beautiful day. After catching up on some house chores, KB and I ventured to hike along the Chattahoochee River located 25 minutes from the house.

Chattahoochee River National Park

The rivers were tranquil in sound, fly fisherman enjoying the time out, and plenty of other people out walking in the mild weather. After 2 hours the pup was finally tuckered out and we headed back to the car for the journey home. Sunroof open, music going, it was the perfect Sunday. Unfortunately J’ Dogs is a bit too old for this much hiking at 14 but no doubt enjoys a good walk around the community.

Day 3 of the extended Holiday weekend begins shortly. Wishing everyone an enjoyable night.

  1. I had no idea GA looked like this in the winter. It appears almost as dormant as CO. Always envisioned GA with year-round greenery, hummingbirds everywhere, and lots of peaches! Beautiful nonetheless.

    1. I never did either , prior to visiting for work in 2006 I only new Atlanta for the Olympics and COPS. That has changes quite significantly. Thanks for the comments !
