First off, I need a shower! I smell like the beach, wildnerness, all in one!
My weekend…
On Friday, I went to the movies and saw Dare Devil, I must say, interesting, but unbelievable.
More fun was on Saturday… Saturday I met up with my friend Sal and went out to DownTown Disney and had lunch at Rainforest. Thanks Jessie for being the pal that you always are (next time u call, leave a vm rather than no message, I was out jogging!) After that, walked around DTD as it was Sal’s first time there. After that, we watched Airplane while awaiting Val to get off work. We then went to the Inland Empire Auto Show, it was interesting, not enough products for the cars in terms of accessories to make it worth it. Then it began to rain, and the three of us jetted over to Islands in Montclair and met up with Good Ole Tiger Lilly Marcia! Had a GREAT time, there and then went out clubbing, the four of us!!! Well, Miniature golfing, that has clubs right??? It wasn’t until a while, we began to get a little odd, and I can say, the swing I did, hit the ball up to the ceiling and it then landed back on the green! Though the comedy point, and I think you had to be there, was when Marcia said… “Someone seemed to have dropped their club” and looked around bewildered! After that, we looked for a few arcade games to play, none of interest, so we headed all back to our houses, Marcia to hers, and then Val and Sal (yeah, quite the same names) went to my house before leaving. Then I watched MadTV before dozing off, and I must say, the lady who says “Can I ask you a question” had a skit from Nov 02, about going after fast food companies for their fattening food, I was laughing so hard, I almost died, my cheeks hurt from laughing so hard last night!
Today…. I woke up and went to the swap meet with Val, looking for seat covers, none founded and then headed to Wal-Mart, where he found them. We ran around the store a bit, then we headed to my house, he left for work, and then I changed for a jog. I went jogging with Mike in Carbon Canyon park, I think he was shocked I was willing to pick him up, but he lives 5 minutes away, no skin off my back. Well then the adventure took us to Newport where we walked out on the rocks to the very end, and I learned about oceanic life of animals there from Mike and his classes, quite the knowledgeable one about that! We then headed to Vince’s in Ontario, picked up some take out, and ate in a park in Ontario, then I dropped him off, then headed back by Wal-Mart to get my sister some paint rollers. Which brings me to now…
Now I smell like sweat from jogging, and the beach, not a good combo, so I need to shower, and pack my gym back and my suite for tomorrow! Thanks for reading and hope everyone had a safe weekend! ?
